Mayor and Councillors of the Municipal Government Team Archena officially received the Plenary Hall of the City of Archena this noon a group of teachers and students who are the partners of the European project "Comenius" Migration ", from the countries of Italy , France, Bulgaria, Turkey and Spain, organized by the management team of the IES Pedro Guillen Archena.
Mayor Manuel Marcos Sanchez has gifted to the representatives of the five visiting countries with different local souvenirs and replica Archena Iberian Warrior, found in the bush Uncle Pio and preserved in the National Archaeological Museum.
Prior to the 12 teachers and 38 students from those countries, the first local authority has spoken briefly about Archena: history, geography, customs, work and lifestyle of archeneros.
The objective of the implementation of this European project is in the opinion of the Director of the IES Pedro Guillén, José María Barranco, awareness to all citizens, through this cultural exchange between European countries, of all the values related to migration of these same citizens of one country to another.
