The 17 Councillors who make up the Municipal Corporation (10 PP, 5 PSOE and IU-LV 2) voted unanimously to only motion of the agenda of the extraordinary plenary session this morning on the clemency petition, a proposal for the Popular Party, to Sergio Ibanez, Emilia Garcia and Ascension Ibanez, owner of a bar in Archena, who have been sentenced to 2 years and 6 months in jail and pay a compensation of 60,000 euros by the emission of noise from their establishment.
Were reported by neighbors in the area where that establishment was located host.
The three speakers for the same local political groups agreed to support the urgency of this motion and support, "with the utmost respect for the neighbors and the Courts of Justice in its decision, the request for clemency for the three archeneros."
The three also agreed that "all petitions and demonstrations to support the owners are unmistakable signs that there is a desire of all people to achieve the goals to save the three archeneros prison."
