The Department of Public Works, Local Development and Services Archena City Council has asked the SEF to the Autonomous Community the implementation of a maintenance project for public spaces and green areas of the municipality for 2010 with the recruitment of 7 people unemployed, including which will meet 6 pawns and 3 officers.
To carry out this initiative has provided a budget amounting to more than 180,000 euros, 167,000 euros distributed to labor and material to work on this project worth nearly 13,000 euros.
Archena Township has 38 parks along its length, including its three hamlets and suburbs, ie a total of nearly 200,000 square meters of green space.
Archena also is credited with the longest ride of the Region of Murcia, which starts at the Spa and has just passed and the hamlet of La Algaida, along the entire edge of the bed of the River Segura.
Also in parks like the Villa Rias, Juan Pablo II, La Morra, Villanueva Road, Sports Hall and Providence areas, as areas where more trees and plants are concentrated.
The rest are public spaces where there is also installed items recreational, entertainment and children's games.
