The campaign of starting with a contribution of 2,300 kilos of food for different Brotherhoods and the Chapter itself Guilds Higher Archena.

Will take place between 17 November and 18 December.

The City Council of Guilds Higher Archena recently decided in a meeting of a campaign to collect food for the first of necessity goods (oil, rice, milk, pasta, sugar, canned goods, etc.) In order to help to alleviate the current precarious situation of many families in this town.

This initiative is born with the name "Solidarity Pantry."

In principle this Pantry Solidarity has already guaranteed a minimum of food, as each Guild has agreed to contribute from their respective Boards of Directors or Government 100 kilos, plus another 100 who will donate the Superior City Council of Guilds as such, with that part with a first collection as a starting point of the campaign of 2,300 kilos.

But that's only the beginning of it, as it will involve all members of each of the guilds to make voluntary contributions as well, as well as local schools, religious organizations, cultural, political, etc.

It must be said that this season can also bring warm clothing (blankets, sheets, etc.).

It is very important to note here that everything collected will be delivered directly to Caritas Archena, where you take care of getting food to those most needy of people, and always with a careful study of census of potential recipients of aid.

To proceed with the collection of food the Cabildo Guilds Higher Archena has established collection points, in particular keep open the headquarters of Superior council of guilds (in the Segura River Avenue, near the sports center) and headquarters the Royal Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Forgiveness (located in the C / Cristo del Perdon near San Juan Bautista Parish Archena).

The collection schedule will be Monday through Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 hours, starting this season on November 17 and ending on 18 December.

Under the slogan "With a bit of you, much to them," the council Guilds Higher Archena wants to encourage participation in this initiative, thus setting an example of generosity and solidarity with our neighbors that these days are having serious difficulty situations economic, especially aggravated by the economic crisis we are living for quite some time.
