Carmen English, president of AFAMMER Murcia, and the Councillor for Equal Opportunities, have Guillén Navarro Rosario
served with the titles of courses completed for women, through this partnership and the collaboration of the Department of Equal Opportunity, and the Ministries of Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs and of Education and Science.
In total 42 women have been trained in courses Enfermetía Assistant Geriatric held from 1 to 26 June, with a total of 70 hours, Dynamism and Social Care: Home Care Assistants, with a total of 50 hours, more dynamic Rural Areas: Entertainer / a Sociocultural for the Elderly, with a total of 50 hours.
The primary objective of these courses is to encourage female employment in rural areas to the students professional training to develop the functions of geriatric nursing profession and to the tasks of home care and socio-cultural .
Rosario Navarro, Councillor for Equality, said at the ceremony of diplomas "to these courses is to achieve diversification of the rural economy, through training in new fields of employment, since it is a real fact aging rural population and increasing demand for qualified people in home care in therapeutic care, as well as people with skills and tools for the development of cultural activities aimed at the elderly group. "
