The Local Government Board has endorsed the proposed demolition of the old building of the Institute Vicente Medina and the blueprint for building the new College Miguel Medina (which will then have three lines).
Both projects totaling EUR 52,166, ie 18,000 (for demolition) and 34,166 euros (for the baseline), respectively.
The aim of this long process is short-term move City Hall to present school Archena Miguel Medina, once restored it, and so unify a large percentage of municipal offices in one building.
School classrooms then revert to the building to be constructed on the site of the former institute Vicente Medina.
Vicente Medina's new since last year is already unified in one building, making it one of the secondary schools with more capacity in the region, ie in their classrooms attend class every day more than 800 students.
Once built the house in place of the old school, Elementary school will move there, and the new City Hall will occupy the premises of this school.
