The Local Government Archena City Council unanimously approved at its last meeting the group join Platform in Defence of the Tajo-Segura and their claims.
It also reflects the aforementioned agreement signed by the support of the transfer of the platform both the Mayor and the rest of council members from Local Government Team.
The Platform in Defence of the Tajo-Segura gather 500,000 signatures are getting around the region to be submitted at the Congress of Deputies a popular initiative in defense of the Tajo-Segura.
Archena Mayor, Manuel Marcos Sánchez Cervantes, said it has reached agreement "on the initiative of Local Government Team.
Only and only because all councilors always popular Archena have claimed smoothly and without any doubt this cause and the need of both Archena as the region of the aqueduct to get us water. "
