The Segura basin (CHS) has opened disciplinary proceedings to the City of Archena by conducting unauthorized discharges, some events that took place last week.

Basin agency technicians have found that over two days a sewer manhole cover and was overflowed sewage discharge to the ravine of the trees.

The CHS study whether Archena City Council, which is required to ensure the smooth functioning of the municipal sanitation, has committed a minor offense, cited by conducting unauthorized discharges and the consequent damage to the Public Water, which may involve at most a fine of 6,000 euros.
