Over five hundred spectators and a share of more than two dozen players, archenera hamlet of El Hurtado again repeated for the third year running its popular "Launch Competition Barrel" and whose winners, plus many surprises, could get your physical weight in liters of beer.
The Hurtado is a district of Archena which is on the road to Ceuta and has about 200 people habitually resident.
This year's winners again broke records.
In the men, Mariano Villalba Camacho, with a throw of 5.76 meters was the first prize and received 133 liters of beer.
And by women, Gema Moreno López, 4.83 meters and won first prize in this category and got 100 kilos of beer.
Again go to where the contest was held several immigrants from Eastern European countries, like last year and new from the Basque Country and Navarra.
This event is part of the annual festivals that took place this past weekend on the occasion of the Feast of St. James, patron of the place.
