With 14 votes in favor (PSOE and People's Party) and two against (IU) this morning full Archena City Council in special session, approved the Plan of Sanitation Financial Officer 2010-2015.
Mayor Sánchez Cervantes explained that the City as in most of the municipalities through a difficult economic situation coincides with the economic situation of general crisis which has reduced significantly the municipal revenues, as well as even have to repay previous earnings.
He also recalled the first municipal authority in September 2008, the Governing Board Archena City Council approved the Municipal Control of Public Expenditure against Financial Crisis, which consisted of 51 measures.
The main objectives of the recovery plan are approved the recovery of net saving, reduction of extra-budgetary debt, debt relief in the short and long term financial institutions and correct the fiscal imbalance.
Sanitation Plan Archena City Council, according to the Mayor, cover a period of six years and reduce the amount of the loan amount arising to ask of 4,000,000 euros, is smaller than the remainder of the year cash in 2008 (5.711.361, 26 euros) plus costs incurred without budgetary provision, pending account (872,903.17 euros).
The plan covers both revenue and expenditure, as well as additional measures for the planning of municipal administrative services in the various municipal sectors because, without them, any economic progress to occur would be slowed.
