Suess Astrid Espinosa and Francisco Jesus Coll, President and Vice President respectively of MURARTT, Professional Association of Art Therapy in the Region of Murcia, presented this morning is based association Archena the Mayor and the Councillor for Social, Marti Trini Gomez, in a official meeting to be held at City Hall.
The first local authority has been very pleased to have in the county with the headquarters of this group at the regional level and ensured that work with its members to the extent of the possibilities of local government that presides.
The association, based in Archena, arises from the Master of Art Therapy from the University of Murcia has been performing since 2004 in the Ricote Valley.
MURARTT was created with the aim of contributing to the development and consolidation of Art Therapy as a discipline and to participate in the establishment of professional standards and ethical criteria, in collaboration with other professional associations.
Furthermore, the association aims to promote the practice, study and dissemination of art therapy in different institutional settings through information activities, research, publication and organization of scientific events.
As another important objective may be appointed to create a space for communication, exchange and support for people trained in art therapy to facilitate the initiation and development of a quality professional activity.
