The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, accompanied by the director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, and Mayor Archena, Manuel Marcos, laid the foundation stone of the Municipal Center Testing & Performance Archena musical, aimed at promoting cultural and artistic youth.
The future center is located on a plot of 1,462 square meters located in the industrial area Phase II Chaplaincy of Archena.
The building of 1,287 square meters will have a typology of industrial building, which is located seven rehearsal rooms for musical groups of about 28 square meters each, a recording, a lobby, a reception area and toilets and control .
All this will occupy an area of more than 452 meters square.
It also will house a concert hall, which will have toilets, dressing rooms and a warehouse, and a scenario that will be built on a superpi of 835 square meters.
The new facility, which hosts concerts and musical performances, youth have the opportunity to rehearse and record their own creations, and once operational, will host a workshop on Modern Music, aimed at learning, dissemination and improvement of contemporary musical genres.
The budget for construction is 789,940 euros, which will provide the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the Institute for Youth, in three annual installments.
The period of execution of the works is three years.
