The municipal crèche figures Archena City Council, organized and instigated by the Folk Group Virgin Health has obtained a First Prize edition of Nativity, in the section councils, awarded by the Association of Bethlehem in the Region Murcia.
The awards were presented during the Christmas Festival that the association organized the evening of January 2 because of the Christmas holidays, in the auditorium of the CAM.
Cribs are 123 who participated this year in the Regional Contest Crib,
This year's edition reached number 26, since Christmas 1983 in the association began nativities with this event.
The event was chaired by the prime responsibility of the Nativity Scene Makers Association Murcia, Joaquín Esteban Mompeán, who said "the crisis had not affected the crib, because the Spanish population and, above all, retains Murcia with love and care their traditions. "
Nativity scenes contest was divided into seven sections: family, attended by 48 churches, were 17 participants, 22 schools, 14 local authorities, 16 associations, 5 and 1 communal vegetable garden rocks of social promotion.
Performed at the ceremony the Youth Choir Choir Murciano Fernández Caballero.
