Press release submitted by the PSOE Archena:
"Last weekend the Socialist archeneros we were amazed to see how flying a flag of the PP just a symbol of the people of Archena and we think it was a joke, but apparently seen believe it is an act that borders mediocrity.
We think it has to have a little more respect for the symbols of the people and the Cross of Ope is.
We feel that it is not acceptable to be placed in the same PP flag, because we believe that this is a public place, a symbol for archeneros whose story is great and always combined different sensibilities.
The Popular Party and Don Manuel Marcos Sanchez should immediately order them to remove that flag and recommend to their members and supporters who do not play with the symbols of archeneros, it is not the first time this happens (in the last municipal elections as sample of his election victory, also flew the same flag) or perhaps ....
Do not want to demonstrate by this act that this town is owned by them?.
From the Spanish Socialist Workers Party Archena strongly condemn this act by being out of place as it has hurt many sensitivities and this totally unnecessary in the times in which we live.
According to José Antonio Candel, Secretary Organization "The Archena the PP has won an absolute majority democratically elections does not mean that Archena can do what it pleases"
From here we call for immediate withdrawal of the flag, so as to prevent any other being placed.
Us from the PSOE we are not dominated by anyone and therefore should not be flown in a place so emblematic of that flag.
We believe that not all Archena PP militants will agree with what happened and we think that has been the work of some of its "most outstanding activists and supporters" the authors of the mess. "
