The PSOE Archena "pitch in to resolve the crisis" (18/12/2008)

The Municipal Socialist Archena City Council wants to inform about the measures taken by the Government of Spain, adopted at the Council of Ministers of 28 November 2008 and published in the Official Gazette on December 2, entering into force on 3 December.

The Council of Ministers has approved the Royal Decree for the establishment of a municipal fund to finance municipal investments that generate employment, for a total of eight billion euros, with the aim of creating two hundred thousand jobs work.

In the area of our town, the planned investment by the Government of Zapatero, is 3,121,011 euros, translated into pesetas, 520 million pesetas for the benefit of citizens of Archena who are unemployed, channeled from the City Council Archena.

The measures we propose are:

Building a Municipal Geriatric.

Building the Care Center for people at risk of social exclusion.

Burying of trash containers.

Occupational Center building.

Construction of a footbridge at the roundabout of the "Groves".

Creation of the Regulatory Board of Denomination of Origin (DO) for agricultural products, trading platforms and processing of agricultural subsidies.

Creation of "Archena-Fi" with free Internet access.

Provision of equipment and personnel to attend medical specialties exist in the health center, namely:

Radiology

Ultrasound

Clinical Laboratory

Trauma

Ophthalmology

Digestive apparatus

Otolaryngology

Construction of a Multi-Use Building

Construction of changing facilities at the sports center and bring the soccer field for sports Algaida.

Creating a municipal campsite on the outskirts of the River Segura.
