The Councillor for Citizen Security, José Pedro Martínez, presented yesterday at the Civic Center for Women, the diplomas of the seminar "Preventing violence against women. Keys and tools," which was aimed at professionals who work directly with women victims of gender violence.
In particular, the planned seminar attended by local police officers, social workers, technical workers of the Department of Equality and CAVI, a total of 25 people.
The seminar was held on Wednesday 26 November, activities that fall within the week against Gender Violence and had
lasting 5 hours.
In this workshop, we have sent tools and skills to identify the key risk indicators, the forms of the disease and early detection of forms of abuse.
Councilman thanked Public Safety to attend the meeting to all attendees, in addition to recognizing the good work being carried out each professional within their scope of work.
The course was organized by the Department of Equality, in collaboration with the Social Work of the CAM.
