Nearly a thousand of pilgrims from the Algaida yesterday accompanied his patron, the Virgen del Rosario, from the Parish Church to the Place of the Dead River as is usual.
With this traditional act terminating the festivity that began in mid-September.
The Procession of the Patron must have been held last Sunday, October 12, but adverse weather forecasts had to be suspended in order to develop this Sunday.
This year also coincides this pilgrimage with a very special celebration: the 50th anniversary of the opening of the new parish of Our Lady of the Rosary, which is performing acts throughout the year and end on 28 December, Mass and celebration of the Silver Jubilee and Golden couples who were married in this church in 1958 and 1983.
The pilgrims to reach the Dead River ate the Paella Gigante after the pilgrimage was cooked and tasted of soft drinks and beverages.
All this after the conclusion of the Mass celebrated by the pastor of Algaida Ls.
