Palazón Francisco Javier Torres, a student of Food Industry Training Course at the Centre for Training and Integrated Agricultural Experiences (CIFE), Molina de Segura, has been recognized with an Outstanding Award for Vocational Training for the academic year 2006-2007, granted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Research.
The winning student (27 years old, born Archena) will receive 600 euros and also have the opportunity to participate in the call for the National Awards for Higher Vocational Training.
The Director General of Operations and Training Modernization of Agricultural Lidón Angel Garcia said on the occasion of this award the Molina de Segura CIFE is the flagship of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Training and a center of reference for food training in Spain. "
He highlighted the good training given to students who, mostly, "find a job quickly, thanks to the practices implemented in the enterprise."
Given the importance of the food industry in the Region, the responsible regional noted that "the professionalization of workers is the best way to reach the levels required by the current competitive market."
In addition to the Higher Level courses in Food Industry and Environmental Chemistry in the Molina Center Intermediate courses offered in Vegetable Canning, Meat and Fish, and the Slaughter and Butchery-Delicatessen.
The offer is completed by the Continuing Education courses, which are based on the specialization of workers in different food sectors.
