The Department of Equality and Health Archena City Council last night joined, on May 28 to commemorate the International Day of Action for Women's Health "by an informative talk on 'Women's Health in different Life Stages. "
In this event was attended by some 200 local women and the holders of such municipal department, Rosario Navarro and Cano Fuensanta.
In the talk, which was given by the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery, Elvira Ramos García, and the Diploma in Nursing, Florentina Pina Roche, both teachers and researchers at the University of Murcia, addressed important issues such as health risks of women in the stage of pregnancy and childbirth, menopause and menopause, nutrition and sexuality, among other topics.
In addition, at the end of the talk show were given to women attending health products such as juices and fruit, donated by Hero, Medina and Panarro Fruit Foods, and various brochures on diseases affecting women exclusively.
A large number of women who attended the event belong to different associations of the municipality relating to Health and Women.
