Archena Mayor, Manuel Marcos Sánchez Cervantes, and Council Member for the Environment, Joaquín López, inaugurated this morning the new garden at the intersection of Mula road and the estates of La Chula, in particular, on the grounds of the former Illustrious factory.
The new park has been built by the developers of new buildings being made in front of this park, which cost € 75,000 and an area of 950 square meters, divided into two areas, one green and another pedestrian character .
In the construction of this new garden has been respected centennial pine that has been located there since forever.
Councilman Joaquin Lopez said after the opening ceremony that "the municipality already has more than 160,000 square meters of green area, which is about 10 square meters per capita in Archena."
He also said that "with this one that just opened and we now have in the municipality with fifty parks."
