The Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena, Bishop Don Juan Antonio Reig Pla, presided over the solemn Mass last night and then the procession of Corpus Christi Archena, the biggest day of the festivity, which since last May 10 are held in the locality.
Many of the pastors who have been stationed in the town, invited for the occasion, and those currently governing the destinies of the two parishes in the village, helped the first ecclesiastical authority of the Diocese of the Region to officiate at this Mass, Park Juan Pablo II, full of faithful archeneros and children who have made this year's First Communion.
In this event also attended by the Mayor and Municipal Government Committee and other civil and military authorities.
After the Solemn Mass, the procession with the Blessed Corpus Archena pattern, left the church square, about 20.30 hours and ended, new this year on the other parishes of Corpus Archena-La Purisima.
