An exhibition of Batuka, Breakdance and juggling took place last Monday, May 19, film Archena summer to mark the end of school year and the festivities of Archena.
This exhibition aimed to show the activities Jugama Intercultural Association through a grant from the Ministry of Labour and Immigration, and collaboration Archena City Council has conducted in the municipality during the current school year.
The above display is the result of the extensive participation of students of the IES and IES Vicente Medina Archena Dr. Pedro Guillén, workshops conducted by the Intercultural Association Jugama.
The aim was that students in these workshops could show their families, friends and people in general what they have learned with much excitement over 7 months.
And so, an exciting exhibit for the organizers of the event, the protagonist of the same, and all those (about 300) who attended to support him.
The workshops have taken place since the month of October until the day of the exhibition, at the premises of the Institute Vicente Medina (old building), the Department of Education Archena placed at the disposal of the association.
The aim of the project undertaken by the association in this county has been promoting the integration of immigrant youth through recreation and leisure that could develop in them values through sport and culture, without excluding other youth who are participating in these activities.
With regard to those responsible for this project, on the one hand are the monitors who taught the workshops:

On the other hand, the coordination of the entire project is Archena by Norberto Rodríguez María Carrasco.
The headquarters 'Jugama' is located in Murcia, where he started his business about 4 years or so, carrying out activities similar to those of this project in the IES of Carmen de Murcia, where activities continue to occur in greater number and higher quality .
In addition to the IES project in Murcia del Carmen and the Archena, the association has another project in Sewell.
Because of the expansion of the association in different municipalities, this year organized the 1st Workshop Intercultural Jugama, which took place on May 17 at the Pavilion Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente in Murcia).
In this conference attended by all students of the association of the different municipalities (including Archena), which showed activities such as:
Breakdance, Capoeira, Baton, Juggling, support in school, sports, Spanish for immigrants, Arab Culture, Theatre and Dance, among others.
