Specialty Care Center for Women Victims of Domestic Violence (CAVI) Archena has organized several activities to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which takes place on 25 November.
The shops of the town, in collaboration with the city, have turned against this social scourge in their windows and putting in visible areas distinctive tie against gender violence.
In addition, all public buildings also exhibit this loop, which aims to make visible such violence that many women suffer daily in our country.
During the week also will develop other activities aimed at different groups of Archena.
There will be a film forum for students of ESO institutes Pedro Guillen Vicente Medina, workshops equality for elementary students in various schools in the municipality, and a talk aimed at parents entitled 'digital Abuse 2.0' which aims to parents identify the hazards to which their children are exposed to domestic violence.
Also, the writer Irel Faustina Bermejo present the book 'Wings', which is an essay on the genesis and consequences of abuse, and the social center of Archena seniors will represent the play 'Musically against gender violence'.
On Wednesday 25 there will be a march against gender violence which will tour the main streets of town and will conclude with the reading of the manifesto against gender violence by the mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez.
There will also be an act of rejection and a release of balloons.
Finally, the Local Committee Against Gender Violence of its sessions held on Thursday, 26.
