The Minister of Finance and Public Administration, Andres Carrillo, pledged today with the mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, to give a boost to the municipal Strategic Plan project called 'Smart Archena', by managing European funds.
Carrillo said "the innovative aspect of the project as it is a comprehensive plan which aims to promote development and economic growth of the municipality, mainly aimed at creating jobs," adding that "it will work in obtaining aid from European funds. "
The 'Smart Archena' project maintains lines raised in the strategy 'Europe 2020' and includes actions in the field of energy efficiency, mobility, citizen participation, good governance code, health tourism, employment, trade, environment and efficiency municipal, among others.
The Minister recalled that the project coincides with the objectives of the Feder funds, "whose purpose is the integrated local development and strengthen economic and social cohesion".
The Finance Minister said that "this is a new technology based on the plan, as well as improving the efficiency of public administration, which will make this town a reference thermal, smart and sustainable city."
