The Community grants this year four gold medals at the law faculties and Chemistry of the University of Murcia, the singer Mari Trini and former president of CES, Antonio Navarro
The municipality of Archena host next Tuesday, June 9 the act of the Day of the Region of Murcia, in commemoration of the XXXIII Anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, to be held at Teatro Villa de Archena .
During the ceremony four gold medals in the Region of Murcia, which this year have been awarded to the law faculties and Chemistry of the University of Murcia, to mark its centenary and its 75th anniversary, will be delivered respectively and posthumously, to the singer Maria Trinidad Perez de Mille Miravete, known artistically as Mari Trini, and Antonio Reverte Navarro, who was president of the Economic and Social Council (CES) of the Region of Murcia.
In this event, which brings together representatives of social, political, economic and cultural sectors of the region, speakers will include elected mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, the president of the Regional Assembly in functions, Francisco Celdrán, and a representative on behalf of the winners, which will precede the institutional discourse of the president of the Autonomous Region in functions, Alberto Garre.
Also, the event will be enlivened by the Symphony Orchestra of the Region of Murcia.
33 years of independence
Murcia XXXIII commemorates the anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy, approved in Parliament on June 9, 1982, as provided in Article 146 of the Spanish Constitution.
