The feast of San Isidro has become to be held in Murcia with a Mass and a procession of tribute patron saint of farmers, held from the parish of San Juan Bautista to the headquarters of the Superior Council of Guilds in Archena Segura River Avenue.
The Mass, which was celebrated by the pastor of the church San Juan Bautista, Alfonso Alburquerque, was attended by the Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, along with several councilors of the government team.
After the Eucharist, the council organized a procession with the statue of the patron saint, who accompanied the faithful, the directive council and representatives of fraternities and sororities, including Councilman Fulgencio Garcia came to bear on certain routes the throne.
Before the parade procession, the Mayor of Murcia paid tribute to the former President of the Superior Council of Guilds, Juan Pio Abenza, handing a municipal board for their excellent work he has done as such for many years, and which will soon leave office.
They also paid tribute to Juan Pio Abenza the same council and the parish.
