The Local Board is meeting for the Patron]
The Local Security Board met this morning in the City of Murcia to decide what security measures and traffic control will be taken over the coming festivities of Corpus Christi Archena.
The meeting was chaired by the Government delegate, Joaquin Bascuñana, the Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernández, the Councillor for Public Safety, Andres Rodriguez, the headman of the Algaida, Andrés Luna, the Head of the Local Police, José Velasco, and regional ministers of the Civil Guard.
After the meeting, Patricia Fernández has stated that it will expand the staff of the Civil Guard Archena with up to 5 effective this year, of which 4 are of immediate incorporation, which will raise the number of guards 21, one of and one of them is Sergeant Cape.
This measure will increase the number of patrols and provide greater security in all areas of the town.
The Mayor thanked the presence of the Chief of Government, Joaquin Bascuña, which, as usual, has provided assistance for security coordination for the successful completion of the festivities.
The Delegate explained that: "During the holidays alcohol tests and drugs that usually carry will be made, because the goal is that everyone can enjoy the festivities and get home safely in perfect condition."
