Patricia Fernandez has explained that this project is a master plan based on new technologies (ICT) and whose main objective is to make a smart Archena spa town.
Ramón Luis Valcárcel wanted to know first hand this project, since its function is to engage in achieving Europeans to achieve the same funds and stated to be presented at the next European call.
The Vice President explained that: "With the new ICTs can be reached anywhere in the world and sell any product in the world and Archena Spa is an excellent product."
The 'Smart Archena' project will revolve around four main axes such as energy efficiency, tourism, trade union and Spa for enhancing all tourism, as the city of Archena is recording a rising tourism occupation of 71 % since last year.
The mayor has emphasized that: "Talking about tourism in Murcia is to focus on wellness," so this project seeks to exploit this tourism to the fullest with a mobility plan that will get the tourist is even more access to areas and facilities in the municipality.
With this work, which was presented a few hours before the Day of the European Community, it is to invest in R & D + i and the entrepreneurial drive of the town.
Valcárcel wanted to congratulate the Government Team of the City of Murcia, especially the Mayor, for good governance and for creating this project so new, the characteristics "are pioneers in Spain."
