The regional government has announced the celebration in the town of Archena the act of the Day of the Region of Murcia, which will take place, as every year, on 9 June.

Murcia celebrates in 2015 the 33 anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of the Community.

During the event they will be given, as usual, the distinctions awarded by the Government of Murcia.

This year will receive gold medals from the Region the Faculty of Law of the University of Murcia, on the occasion of its centenary, and the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Murcia, which is 75 years.

Also, posthumously, were awarded Gold Medals to the singer Maria Trinidad Perez de Mille Miravete, artistically known as Mari Trini, and Antonio Reverte Navarro, who was president of the Economic and Social Council of the Region of Murcia.

This event, which brings together the political, social, economic and cultural representatives from the region, will be held at the Teatro Villa de Archena.
