The Mayor of Murcia, D ª.
Patricia Fernandez has maintained a reunióncon the Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García Legaz to commissioning, from next September, the "Strategic Plan" of the municipality.
This plan, comprehensive and strategic, provides the relevant aspects of Regulation No 1303/2013 of the European Union, aimed at achieving eleven thematic objectives aligned with the Europe 2020 strategy, such as, among others, to promote employment and mobility labor, improving the competitiveness of SMEs by promoting the incorporation of ICTs, or improving the efficiency of public administration.
This strategy will make Archena in a "smart territory", innovative and cutting edge, leading European level boosting municipal sustainability policies and economic development.
Specifically, the Mayor and the Secretary of State worked on the strategic priorities of the plan, competence of the Secretariat, including:
Rehabilitation and enhancement of the Municipal Market, offering retail and entertainment services based on new technologies.
The transformation of the urban municipality into a strip mall.
Improving Municipal Signage to boost small businesses and tourist areas of interest.
"Murcia, free of bureaucratic barriers."
This is a pilot project to review and modernize local regulations, aiming to eliminate unjustified administrative barriers to business and economic development.
It also seeks to improve municipal fingerprint for improving citizen access to public services.
After the meeting with the Secretary of State for Trade, the Mayor said he was "very pleased by the positive reception of García Legaz, and we are confident that we will be able to implement sufficient mechanisms to carry out these projects in the coming months ".
