The Minister of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, president of the Institute of Development (Info) today signed an agreement with the mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Institute for Creation Foundation and Enterprise Development (Incyde), Javier Collado, and Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Murcia, Enrique Torres, for the creation of a business incubator in the municipality.
The creation of the Business Incubator has a budget of 350,000 euros, of which 280,000 will be provided by ERDF through the Incyde Foundation, and the rest by the Consistory.
The works should start by October this year and finish before the third quarter of 2015. The project contemplated to be particularly linked to Medicine and Sport, and it is an orientation motivated and reinforced by the proximity of the spa Archena .
"These are the initiatives that citizens expect from politicians," said Minister of Industry, Tourism, Enterprise and Innovation, Juan Carlos Ruiz, adding that "we are here to be helpful and a project like this is because it will directly job creation, which is the main commitment of the Government of President Garre ".
The Minister explained that "the Info advise the City of Murcia in the management of these new services, as well as businessmen and entrepreneurs who are staying there, and will engage businesses and entrepreneurs in the area of ​​projects that are running from Info ".

Juan Carlos Ruiz said that "there are 18 business incubators in 15 municipalities in the region, offering a total of 200 spaces for entrepreneurs."
He also noted that "at present, there are 134 entrepreneurs promoting their projects from the nurseries of the region."
The Minister of Industry also highlighted the work that helps entrepreneurs is from the Institute of Development, and which, he said, "during the first half of the year, has advised Info 2,375 entrepreneurs and has promoted the creation of 181 companies. "
The Minister recalled that "Archena is enterprising town since March 2013, in recognition for the active promotion of entrepreneurship and consolidation of business activities therein are carrying out policies."

The Incubator Network Murcia was established in January 2010 in order to coordinate joint actions incubators, promoting them and supporting them in their advisory to entrepreneurs.
