The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez along with Councilwoman Manuela Moreno have delivered this morning in the neighborhood of The Hurtado a commemorative plaque and a bouquet of flowers to an elderly woman named Carmen Isabel Ortega, for his hundred years.
This woman, who was born and still lives in this neighborhood, attended the event surrounded by all his family, three daughters, ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Carmen Isabel Ortega was born in the year 1914 in the middle of World War I, therefore, give a plaque for its centennial "pleases archenero your neighborhood and village, giving us a sample of their lived experiences, throughout his life," agreed many of its neighbors.
In addition, the Mayor has said he "feels proud to have people of great age belonging to the population of Murcia, and so celebrate with family and friends our path archeneros countrymen."
