It is alleged the owner of pyrotechnics and have initiated four administrative procedures for punishing breaches of the Rules of Pyrotechnic Articles and Cartridges
The Civil Guard in the operation called 'THUNDER', has dismantled an illegal fireworks workshop in the town of Murcia Archena.
Researchers have inspected five locations and a truck, where have seized 5,000 items and 360 Kilos of fireworks.
In addition, disciplinary proceedings have been initiated by the Administrative Regulations and Articles Pyrotechnic Cartridges violations.
The operation began when agents of the Guardia Civil in the inspections that are performed on pyrotechnic articles, discovered a stash of such devices located in the municipality of Archena (Murcia).
In these installations was carried out the preparation and assembly of fireworks shows, as well as developing the necessary pyrotechnic material for use in this type of event.
The person managing the illegal fireworks did not meet any of the requirements necessary to engage in this activity, as it was not owner or worker of any pyrotechnics or workshop preparation and assembly authorized for public entertainment.
Also lacked the skill card that facilitates the management and use of pyrotechnic articles intended for use only by professionals.
As part of the inspection carried out in five buildings not authorized to store fireworks in a truck and has been involved a total of 360 kilos of fireworks, as well as 5,000 units of fireworks devices, of which only some of them could be used by persons holding a license experts.
It also found 10 kilos of black powder, numerous color housings units of different sizes, candles, wicks, batteries thunder shot category.
The agents have started four disciplinary records to the person who was in front of illegal fireworks workshop, was allegedly responsible for various administrative offenses under the Regulation and Articles Pyrotechnic Cartridges for manufacture, handle, prepare and store fireworks of categories I, II, III and IV lacking the professional qualifications required for the handling of pyrotechnic products (card pyrotechnics expert) for exclusive use by experts;
by storing fireworks in unauthorized properties;
by conducting fireworks displays, and irregular purchase of fireworks to other companies products.
During the research process it was detected that the accused had done now for some festive fireworks displays and cultural associations of the Region of Murcia.
Responsible for safety
The Civil Guard stresses that the organizers of firework displays, as responsible for the overall safety of themselves, are the ones who must ensure that the companies hired to meet the requirements of current legislation includes pyrotechnics.
Both the failure of the various regulatory requirements such as handling personnel fireworks without a license, they can pose a risk to the safety of participants in shows with fireworks.
The operation was carried out by agents of the Central Weapons of the Civil Guard of Murcia.
All actions and seized material have been made available to the Director General of the Civil Guard, which is competent to sanction on weapons and explosives.
