The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, has signed a collaboration agreement with the President of the Superior Council of Guilds Archena Holy Week, Juan Pío Abenza establishing municipal institution grants financial aid of € 15,000 for the completion of all acts of these upcoming Easter celebrations, including parades processional.
This is a traditional event during these next to the dates of Easter days.
Archena Easter is the traditional celebration oldest preserved in the town, nearly 300 years of history.
The Superior Council of Guilds is composed of 12 guilds that take in procession parades nine and fifty thrones and carvings on the street, from Good Friday until Easter Sunday.
In addition, countless lenten events are also organized and all the days of Passion Week.
In signing the agreement also present the Councillor for Culture, Magdalena Ortiz.
