Archena Spa on Saturday welcomed the IV Diocesan Youth Brethren.
More than 165 young people from fraternities and sororities throughout the Diocese participated in this journey that began with Morning Prayer in the chapel of Our Lady of Health, patron Archena.
Young arrived from Murcia, Cartagena, Lorca, San Pedro del Pinatar, Pliego, Bullas, Mazarrón, Ricote, Cieza, Ceuta, Blanca and Archena participated in this meeting.
The first presentation of the morning was given by D. Fernando Gutiérrez Reche, pastor of San Antonio Ma Claret Cartagena and chaplain of the Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazarene (Makos) of Cartagena, which focused on the contribution of young people to traditions of each brotherhood, innovation joy and ardor of illusion, evoking the apostolic exhortation of Pope Evangelii gaudium Francisco.
Following the presentation a panel discussion was held, highly participatory, about the reality of young people in their fraternities and sororities, and innovate on what they receive from the legacy of the greatest tradition and its role, as required in the daily life of each group, coming from a rich mixed reality as of procesionistas.
According to the pastor of St. John Baptist de Murcia, Alfonso Alburquerque, the food was a time to share the very different experiences of diocesan brotherhoods, "but like a big family, and where vocational reality of young people who have felt your call to priestly life fit perfectly ", highlighting the presence of some young people who are training at the Seminary of San Fulgencio.
In the afternoon the procession took place with the image of Cristo de la Misericordia, parading in the procession archenera youth each Saturday of Passion.
The procession started from the square on May Day to the parish of San Juan Bautista, where the Bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena presided at the Eucharist.
"It was a celebration full of emotion and with close words of our Pastor, full of encouragement, enthusiasm and hope, that many years will take to forget, because they were uttered with great affection for these (and all) young Murcia brothers" explains the pastor of San Juan Bautista, who also appreciates the work done during the past year by young pasionarias twelve guilds of Murcia, next to the Delegation of brotherhoods, the Cabildo and the Municipality of Archena this county.
