Over 1,000 people showed their generosity by attending the Solidarity Tournament held from early morning Saturday at the Municipal Sports Archena.
The Catholic University of Murcia attended event, providing support for two orphaned children, José and Pedro Antonio Román.
Dwayne Davis and Miki Servera, the UCAM Murcia Basketball Club also contributed their bit.
The objective was clear: to help to ensure continuity of training and development and Pedro Antonio José Román.
Two brothers aged 13 and 10 years, respectively, who recently lost their parents.
Faced with a delicate situation like this, the UCAM Murcia CB, wanted to contribute to the best way in organizing the tournament Solidario.
Miki Servera and Dwayne Davis represented the club in this event, delivering a bouquet of flowers and a small honor made a kick aimed at mobilizing more than 1000 people who attended the Sports Center Archena.
So did, representing the Catholic University of Murcia CF Angel Robles and Juan Jesús Piñero "Pico".
This tournament Solidario was certainly possible, thanks to the organization of La Peña Bilbaína of Murcia, the Department of Sports, San Juan Bautista parish, Corpus Christi - La Purisima Virgen del Rosario, the Superior Council of Guilds, the Sports Schools Archena and Bullas, Community School and other local entities.
Through the efforts of various companies and associations, and Pedro Antonio José Román could enjoy a different day, surrounded by supportive people, receiving gifts like soccer jerseys, bicycles and other gifts.
