The Department of Equal Opportunities Archena held yesterday, Thursday, a ceremony at the Cultural Center where they held a news item on "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women".
This event is part of the "Week Against Gender Violence" which celebrates the Department of Archena until 25 November.
The evening began with the intervention of the Councillor for Equality, Manuela Moreno.
After his opening remarks, he said the missions carried out from his Department.
Later took the stage the Director General on Prevention of Gender Violence, Veronica Lopez.
Subsequently participated in the day where the youth correspondents explained what they were to their main objectives.
These people they support and awareness to fellow institutions to which they belong, on violence.
The event ended with a performance of the play of "Help yourself" theater performed by the theater group "Ganas de Vivir" Social Senior Center of Murcia, whose members exemplify a case of domestic violence in which they wanted to raise awareness required to report these situations that occur so often in today's society.
