The regional government has given the green light to an agreement between the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), under the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, and the City of Murcia for the maintenance of the Center for Child Development and Early in this municipality , for an amount of 32,607 euros.
The goal of early intervention programs is that children under six years of age who have developmental disorders or are at risk for these problems can be treated from the preventive and care.
Thus, it enhances their capacity for development and welfare and enables integration into the family, social and personal.
The Community this year allocated 3.5 million euros to finance the 28 centers and early intervention services, of which 16 belong to local corporations and other associations of persons with disabilities integrated into FADIS federations, FASEN and FEAPS.
The aim of these centers, by stage each year about 3,500 children, is to achieve maximum standardization and integration of children in their family, social and educational.
In addition, it advises parents and reportedly supports and instructs all family members on various aspects of the pathology of the child.
