Archena Local Police participated in the campaign last days of the Traffic Department on "Seat Belt and Child Restraint Systems (CRS)", which was held from 11 to 17 March, in almost all Region, and on Sunday, the 17th, in Murcia, in particular.
The result of this operation showed the following data in the municipality of Archena: From 1943 controls were performed, 437 drivers were reported for not wearing your seat belt (which means that nearly 23 percent of controlled were committing such infringement)
The use of approved restraint systems, seatbelt and SRI, has been demonstrated as the Security system simpler, cost-effective and efficient in all types of roads and paths.
One of the objectives of the Road Safety Strategy is to "ensure that no child loses his life for my not properly seated in a chair suitable for their weight and height", is therefore that the consistent application of the law on seat belts by local police officers, is one of the most effective ways to increase and maintain a high rate of belt use among car occupants.
