The municipality becomes the eighth of the Region approves actions to valuing the contribution of entrepreneurs in creating wealth and employment in the locality
Archena has become 'Municipality Entrepreneur' thanks to an agreement signed today between the Minister of Universities, Business and Research, José Ballesta, and the mayor of the town, Patricia Fernandez, through which different actions will be promoted to encourage the creation and development of entrepreneurial business initiatives.
In this regard, the Minister José Ballesta said "Archena is the eighth city to get involved in this initiative," after Alhama de Murcia, Cehegín, Molina de Segura, Yecla, Totana, Cartagena and Cieza.
The Company holds stressed that "this is an action that the regional government, through the Institute of Development, takes a pioneer in Spain", adding that "with this agreement, the two governments, regional and local levels, we are committed to promote initiatives to stimulate local business development and generating employment, creating an enabling environment. "
It also stated that the form Ballesta this agreement "also implies a further step in the streamlining of procedures that the entrepreneur must make before the two administrations, resulting in that we are contributing to a reduction in the time required to create far a business. "
Measures
The signing of the agreement includes a set of concrete measures to be developed in different policy areas, such as the promotion of entrepreneurship, self identifying potential niches in the municipal environment, actions of entrepreneurs and business training, measures financing and tax incentives designed to encourage municipal starting new business activities and administrative simplification and streamlining and reduction procedures for implementation by promoting e-government and consolidation of business activities.
Another object of this agreement the promotion and reinforcement of their own or other infrastructure that can accommodate activities at an early stage on favorable terms and the enhancement of existing business infrastructure and development activities in support to the business and potential entrepreneurs, through various instruments and through its integration into the Red Point SMEs.
For its part, the City Council is committed to developing Archena actions to valuing the contribution of entrepreneurs in creating wealth and employment in the municipality, valuing the role of employer and generator of wealth for society as well as contribute to the involvement of the centers of Elementary and Secondary Education and Vocational Training centers of the municipality in projects promoting entrepreneurship at an early age.
The distinction 'Municipality Entrepreneur' is granted by the Ministry of Universities and Research Company all those municipalities in the region to commit themselves to implement a custom package to support business in your area.
This qualification is open to all municipalities in the region of Murcia.
