The Chief of Police and the Department of Traffic and Safety Archena City Council has reported the results of the implementation of preventive controls several points with BAC in different areas of the town, on the night of Saturday, September 13, between 00 : 00 and 06:00 hours.

These controls have been aimed at preventing the use of motor vehicles under the influence of alcohol, drugs or narcotic substances toxic and to preserve public safety through crime prevention.

During that operation has also affected the common practice areas "Botelleo", in order to avoid disturbing the neighbors and prevent the binomial "Alcohol-Driving".

In the operation involving a total of seven staff members of Local Police (Chief, 2 and 4 Agents Cabos).

The results of the checks after undergoing tests for drivers over 50, were as follows:

3 complaints of alcohol, administrative sanctions that will entail the loss of 6 points on the license, with the corresponding vehicle immobilisation.

1 arrested for an alleged crime against road safety (driving under the influence of alcohol, with a rate of 1.16 m. / L).

1 arrested for an alleged crime against road safety (driving motor vehicle lacking the permission required).
