Good management of the Partido Popular in the Ayuntamiento de Archena is paying off.
On Monday October 24 budgets were approved this year.
Real and austere budgets that result in a surplus of 1.69 billion euros.
Only the Municipal People's Party group agreed to approve budgets which include saving measures such as the removal of subsidies to political parties and the absence of councilors released in the government team.
From the Popular Party strongly believe that each political party should be managed with quotas of their own members.
Not you say the other opposition parties (PSOE, IU and UiPD) who voted against the budget and defended, among other points, that the political costs of their parties is paid by all archeneros / as.
The People's Party has not only removed Archena subsidies to political parties, but it holds promise not to release any of the governing council.
This simple measure saves € 150,000 a year to city coffers.
We understand that economic times are tough and everyone, especially politicians, we must make an effort.
These are some of the many taken by the team of Popular Party government to resolve the current crisis from which we are sure we will move forward.
