A tribute to all the mayors of Archena of XX and XXI centuries will start the program of activities
The Director General of Cultural Industries and Arts, Juan Antonio Lorca, presented this morning by the mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, scheduling activities the 550th anniversary of the signing of the Charter Township Population.
The programming, which Lorca called it "interesting" features nearly 200 activities spread over a year.
The CEO said that these acts will mean "an enhancement of Archena during their 550th anniversary, and the Region of Murcia."
Cultural events, "both for the enjoyment of the citizens of Archena and the rest of the population", will have a large local participation and will be "very varied and tested quality", showing both "contemporary Township as his career. "
The program of activities will begin on Saturday, September 8, with the opening of a horse in Medieval Bando City Hall Plaza at 11:00 am, with a tribute to the mayors of Archena of XX and XXI centuries and the gold medal at the canals 'The Principal' and 'The Caravija', at 21:00.
The activities will take place during the entire month, among which are the official discovery of the commemorative plaque in honor of the signing of the Charter of the City of Murcia, on Tuesday 11th at 10:00 am, or the festival of La Algaida in honor of the Virgen del Rosario, from Friday 14 to Tuesday 18, among other events.
During the next 11 months, continue cultural events, festivals, gastronomic tours, lectures, screenings, concerts and performances, highlighting the official discovery of Honor Memorial at the Signing of the Charter of the City of Archena Monday, December 3 .
The program will terminate on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, with the Closing Gala, with the participation of artists, songwriters and music groups, among others, of the town.
