The Mayor, Patricia Fernandez, and Councilman Mario Alcaraz, visited the exhibition of old photographs installed in the Center for Senior Day Archena, with the sample of more than fifty images of different places since the early XX and characters from everyday life of the 40's and 50 older people provided by this center.
In this collection can be highlighted as most relevant images, photo taken Francesca Guillen, known as 'The Illuminated', or the famous transport at the time, 'The Catalan'.
This exhibition will move soon to the Museum of Murcia, to mark the 550th Anniversary of the Signing of the Charter of the City, which will be ongoing until September 2013, along with that technique on the Big House - now the Town Hall Building.
During the visit, the Mayor and City Council, accompanied by Nicholas Joaquina, Director of Day Care Center, have been very interested and curious about the multitude of pictures.
