The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, met yesterday evening with the family of the Mayors who have presided Archena City Council since 1900 and the last 3 still living and residing in the township to explain in detail what will include the opening ceremony official program of the commemoration of 550 anniversary of the Charter of Population Archena.
The City will initiate the events of this celebration on September 8, Saturday, with a tribute to the first local authorities from 1900 to 2012 and with the delivery of the Gold Medal of the Village at Main Ditch and Caravija Archena.

The program includes more than one hundred events with participation of many associations and groups of Archena and runs until September 2013.
