The exhibition project "Art-ETE 2012" was inaugurated this past weekend in the auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura de Archena with students who have participated in this second year of the project.

In this act, the Councillor for Education of the City of Murcia, Mario Alcaraz, has returned to work in the continuation of that project led by Artistic and Educational Center "Flash-Art" Archena.

The project "Art-ete 'emerges in June 2010 with the desire and commitment of its author, educator and art therapist Maria Cruz Moreno Soler, director of' Flash-Art ', after a thorough analysis on specific educational needs that some children have school in the municipality and existing resources to address issues related to learning and school integration, as the director herself.

'Art-ete' begins to be implemented in the 2010-11 academic year as a "pilot project" to give attention to all schoolchildren in the municipality of Murcia, in collaboration with the Department of Education of the City Council.

A unique and original for the treatment of educational problems linked to school failure and behavior 'disruptive' that arise in primary school classrooms, this action being a preventive measure of social deprivation, continues to assert Maria Cruz Moreno.

After collecting a sample of twelve students, two from each school, begin to give free treatment to those selected by a method based on the 'Art Therapy', obtaining an academic year 2010-11 after the very positive results, so valued by the children, their families and education professionals involved in the project, which is why the decision to continue this initiative indefinitely.

Under the title of the exhibition "Building a" shows the spirit of what the project 'Art-ETE', ie give the possibility for children to express themselves and communicate better with their environment.

An experience that becomes an example to be put into practice elsewhere and be directed to other educational and social issues through art therapy, finishes explaining the Director of the center.
