The City Commission of Truancy, formed in 2011 and consist of the President and Alderman, Mario Alcaraz, two representatives of the Municipal Services, Inspectors of Elementary and Secondary Education, a representative from each school and each HEI, local police and Technical of Education, decided after the last meeting held on June 11, launching the "Municipal Plan for Prevention, Monitoring and Control of Absenteeism and Dropout" in the township.
Within this plan, will conduct a series of actions, such as tracking all schools in the municipality of the same, which inter alia envisages the implementation of the "Social Hall", ie intervention with the students themselves to provide an alternative to absenteeism.
Sources say the same commission that the City Council have shown great interest in reducing truancy in the town, as in the centers themselves have expressed their satisfaction with the results obtained.
