The Mayor of Murcia, Patricia Fernandez, yesterday received the councilors and technicians who make up the Initiative Project Generating Employment in the tourism sector.
This is the first of a series of meetings to be held until the completion of the project.
The project is a study funded by the SEF for municipalities members of the Local Employment Committee of the Ricote Valley and Vega Media.
They are part of this project the municipalities of Abarán, Murcia, White, Cieza, Ojós, Ricote, Ulea and Villanueva, the town being Archena coordinating the project.
The objectives of the project are referred to the need to identify areas for joint action, and design and implement new mechanisms and instruments generating more and better jobs and further progress in enhancing tourism products and concrete action to support and dynamic to market them, to help the promotion of tourism-related activities in the different municipalities and ensure their integration with sector development strategies that characterize the tourism development policies implemented at regional level.
