On Friday, March 30 beginning the processions of Holy Week Archena (29/03/2012)

The Via Crucis with the image of Our Lady of Sorrows is the first act that will open this Friday Easter Archena.

Friday morning opened the processions of Holy Week archenera declared of Regional Tourist Interest.

In particular, Friday morning after Mass at 8 pm will take place the traditional Via Crucis procession with the statue of Our Lady of Sorrows, this being carried by bearers of different Brotherhoods of the Easter Archena.

On Saturday March 31 at 5 pm, there will be the Children and Young Procession (Procession of Mercy).

This year with the new change in its tracks, it will leave the Church of St. John the Baptist and The following route: Plaza del Principe, C / Mayor, Plaza of Spain, C / San Juan, Avda.del Lane, C / Ramon y Cajal, C / del Carmen, C / Pintor Medina Vera, Plaza del Principe and again return to the parish of San Juan Bautista.

On Palm Sunday processions are held Palmas and Ramos in the parish of San Juan Bautista at 10.30 am, and in the Parish of Corpus-La Purisima at 11.30 h.

In the afternoon, at 18.30 will take place on transfer of the Crucified Christ from the chapel of The Woodlands to the Church of Corpus-La Purisima.

Easter Monday at 22 am will be held the Via Crucis of the parish of Corpus-La Purisima by different streets of the town.

It will be on Tuesday and holy when they begin the great processions of this town, particularly this day at 21 am with the procession of Atonement.

Wednesday of Holy Week will be held at 21 am the procession of the Arrest, Holy Thursday at 12 pm the procession of Silence, with the image of Christ on Mount Calvary, local sculptor Enrique Salas.

Friday is the quintessential big day of Holy Week archenera, it begins in the morning at 9 with the Procession of the meeting Painful afternoons and after Saints Crafts from 17.30 hours on Unlocking, a sign acts identity of this Holy Week is celebrated because in very few places in the country, and at night, at 21.30 we celebrate the Holy Burial Procession.

But there is more, on the morning of Good Friday to Easter Saturday, namely at 4 in the morning takes place on the hillside to the Church Ope and the procession of Corpus Christ's Descent into Hell by the Brotherhood of Souls.
