'Archena, history and traditions "is the guidebook that will from now on for tourists, visitors and themselves archeneros to know the history of the town and its most representative Archena traditions, according to the president of the Brotherhood of Our Lady of pallbearers Health, Patroness of Murcia, Jose Maria Gomez.
He also commented on the presentation of this publication that this is one of the many acts to be undertaken this year to mark the 150th anniversary of the Hotel Spa (the oldest in the spa resort).
In such event, held at one of the halls of the spa hotel also Leon, Gomez was accompanied by the President of the complex thermal, Miguel Lloret, and the Councillor of Culture and Tourism of the City of Murcia, Magdalena Ortiz, among other representatives.
The book, in full color and well illustrated, has 50 pages and will sell for a token at newsstands and bookstores in the town, tourist offices and places Commercially the Spa.
Jose Maria Gomez further explained that this is a first edition, but like all publications will be developed later, which will have many more traditions and other chapters in the history of the town, so interesting and intense as those now presented in this first book.
